Podgórze

Full Renovation

Vision

The project involved the comprehensive renovation and construction management of a 61 m² apartment located in the Podgórze district of Kraków.

The design aimed to create a flexible and functional home that could adapt to different ways of living while maintaining a sense of openness and spatial continuity. Custom-built furniture and integrated storage solutions were incorporated to make the most of every area, improving both the efficiency of the layout and the overall quality of the space.

This approach led to a contemporary industrial aesthetic that guided the selection of materials, colors, lighting, and furnishings, creating a distinctive and cohesive identity throughout the apartment.

Scope

Design & Construction Management

Project

The apartment features a kitchen and dining area, two bathrooms, a balcony, and two bedrooms. The design focused on optimizing the interior layout, strengthening the connection between social and private areas, and maximizing storage through integrated solutions and custom-designed furniture.

One of the bedrooms was incorporated into the social area and transformed into a home office connected to the living room. To ensure flexibility, concealed sliding panels were introduced, allowing the space to be closed off when privacy is needed or converted into a guest bedroom.

The material palette combines industrial-inspired surfaces, neutral tones, and metal accents, complemented by carefully designed lighting that reinforces the intended atmosphere. Consistent materials and design principles throughout the apartment create a cohesive, contemporary aesthetic where functionality and style come together naturally.
